How many agricultural [general] seed planters (they plant most general food crops for eg. maize, wheat, soya, sunflower, barley etc), also known as seed drills, were sold worldwide each year starting from 2001 to 2005 and then to present and what was the overall monetary value of the mahines sold? If possible please split figures up into regions like North America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Australia etc. I would like independant figures, if possible, for the USA, Australia, EU, Ukraine, Russia and China, but especially first three. Please list your references and provide web addresses etc. |

Seems to me you will also need a line on used, but overhauled drills and Conversion kits to get full picture. Hard to think of something the would make an existing drill obsolete, now that Tractors are so big. |

For this particular exercise please concentrate on new machines only. These machines do not really become obsolete as such in terms of basic working components, although technology in them does advance quite rapidly in terms of precision and controls, however they do ware out quite quickly due to the fairly harsh and abrasive environment they work in. |
