I would like to be able to "read" the full pages of major newspapers.
There is a section in the sports pages that I like to read where the
columnists and such declare their "winning picks" for each week
however on most "online editions", the newspapers only insert articles
and such.
The perfect example that I have seen for what i am looking for is
"pressdisplay.com" however the number of Amercian papers is limited
(think city papers for every NFL team)
I would like to know if there is a clearinghouse subscription like
pressdisplay (which is great but I need more USA papers), or the best,
most efficiecnt way to accomplish this task? Half pressdisplay and hit
library (would they have this?) I am pretty sure lexis nexis does
not have these charts..

bailey111-ga,

There's only one other site that I know of besides pressdisplay.com
that offers online print versions of newspapers. Here are their
holdings for US papers. Let me know if there's enough there for what
you need, and if so, I'll post information about the site as an answer
to your question.

Cheers,

pafalafa-ga

Sounds good but it seems to have some of the same as pressdisplay. I
would like to know the site, but let's say that I was looking for the
full version of x newspaper in Arizona (once again, I am mostly
looking for major to mid-major cities) The combined lists are close
but the method of finding the full display of paper would be great.
Thanks for the quick reply.

bailey111,

Take a look at this site:

https://www.newsstand.com/

and let me know what you think.

Newsstand and Pressdisplay are the only two services that I know of
that provide actual print versions of daily papers.

Another that comes close is the wonderful Newseum:

http://www.newseum.org/todaysfrontpages/

but unfortunately, you only get to see the front page!

Play around with these a bit, and let me know how close we've come to
getting you what you need.

They are both great services but I want to know a method where I can
research a full pages if necessary.
For instance, I can still not find one paper's full pages, what would
be the method to seeing this - (even if it is beyond the computer).

Just to clarify. I am usually looking for one section that is not
posted in online editions, that is why i am looking at full displays.
The newsmuseum serves little since it is front page, as you said.
Pressdisplay does not charge full subscription per paper which makes
it better than newsstands.com
