Helping out a friend who owns her own house-cleaning business. She
wants to buy a laptop and she is pretty computer-illiterate (like me)
so I suggested a Mac (like mine). She's also wondering if there's any
software that can help her run her business. I used Quickbooks a few
years ago to manage my small copywriting business but that was just
for invoicing and accounting - I didn't need anything too
specific/vertical. She'd love it if there was an application made for
a house-cleaning business (or similar service where you visit homes on
a regular basis). She'd like to input client info and schedules and be
able to print a daily page of homes to clean for each of her crews.
Invoicing is not as important because it's a pay-as-you-go business
(though I guess it would be nice to show how much income each client
generates). Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!
