Question ID: 756984
Is it possible to sync the Outlook calendar on my desktop with my
PocketPC using GPRS syncing? I can't do it over Wifi because I will
be out when I need to sync.

I have a regular PC with Windows XP and Office, not an Exchange
Server. I do have a static IP address for my computer and could open
ports on the firewall if there was a way to use ActiveSync in this
way, or with third party add-ons.

I'm using Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition on an Orange SPV M2000,
Windows XP Pro and Office/Outlook 2003.

A good question, I use Windows Mobile 2002/2003/2005 mobiles so I am
quite experienced with these phones, I do not directly know of a way
to do this so a search is in order.

Short of tweeking this and using GPRS and your static IP as your
target server address I do not know of a way this can be done.

The forums at www.modaco.com have people who specialise in this. They
may be able to point you in the right direction.
