Does anybody know of a webside which will enable idetifying medicine
tablet made in U.S. by displaying the picture of the pill and the
legend which is on it. I found a site for foregn made  pills but none
fot U.S made ones.

There is a drug identification wizard here:
http://search.drugs.com/imprints.php

In the lower "blue" area, select the pill's COLOR, then, when the page
opens you will see dozens (or hundreds) of pages of pictures of pills
with that color. It shows the imprints too.

You can also enter the inscription in the box marked "IMPRINT" to
bring up all pills with that number/letter imprint on it.
