Windows 2000 Pro SP3 French-Canadian standalone Workstation , no network present IIS installed with all options Microsoft Loopback Adapter installed, bound with: - File and printer sharing - Client for Microsoft Networks - TCP/IP * Testing is done while connected to the net using a dialup account * Always logging in the computer as Administrator * SMTP Service is running * ASP code can instantiate CDO.Message object * CDO.Message .Send methods succeeds -- but mail is never received by recipient * FTP server and Web Server do appear in Console Already tried: * re-installing smtp service * re-installing IIS * creating a new console under MMC Any ideas and help will be immensely appreciated. |

I don't know what MMC console is, but as far as I know, SMTP related with MX record pretty much normally, SMTP don't need to config too much at all, but you really need to check DNS server of MX record hope it would help.. |
