Change of Eyelid Color as the Day Progresses (Due to Capillaries?) Category: Health > Conditions and Diseases Asked by: partinggift-ga List Price: $2.50 | Posted:

| What makes the eyelid change color and is there something to stop it? Every day my eyelids will turn "brownish red" as the day progresses. When I wake up, they are the same skin tone as the rest of the face but will change color. I think it is due to the capillaries. |

| If the inside of the eyelid changes from pink to red during the day, it could be something called blepharitis (blockage of tear ducts). |
