Hello Jsashcroft,

According to my research below there are currently no phase III
trials on dutasteride and hairloss being conducted.

CenterWatch Clinical Trials Listing Service

You can use this site to find a wealth of information about clinical
research, including listings of more than 41,000 active industry and
government-sponsored clinical trials, as well as new drug therapies in
research and those recently approved by the FDA.

Clinical Trials Search:
http://www.centerwatch.com/patient/trials.html

I searched for Dutasteride and there are no results for Dutasteride
clinical trials as a hair loss drug.

According to an old hair news article, GlaxoSmithKline cancelled
their Phase lll clinical trials of Dutasteride as a hair loss drug.

?I just learned that GlaxoSmithKline cancelled their Phase lll
clinical trials of Dutasteride as a hair loss drug. A statement said
that the drug is not sufficiently differentiated from Propecia. There
is speculation that the company is afraid of law suits coming from
people who would use the drug for hair loss and might suffer some side
effects.?
