Q: How do I disable password checking for createlang?

I think this should be a simple thing:
When I run create createlang, it asks for a password.
I don't want it to because `psql mydb` does not require a password.

I CAN GET INTO mydatabase WITHOUT A PASSWORD:
  [russianspy@server1 slony]$ sudo su postgres
  bash-3.00$ psql mydatabase
Welcome to psql 7.4.8, the PostgreSQL interactive terminal.

  Type: \copyright for distribution terms
\h for help with SQL commands
\? for help on internal slash commands
\g or terminate with semicolon to execute query
         \q to quit

  mydatabase=# \q

BUT I CAN'T RUN createlang WITHOUT A PASSWORD:
  [russianspy@server1 slony]$ sudo su postgres
  bash-3.00$ createlang -h localhost -p 5432 plpgsql mydatabase
  Password:

** I wan't to disable this password prompt on createlang - what do I do ? **

ANSWER:
1) change all entries to 'trust' in the pg conf file
2) restart postgresql server.

--- that made it stop nagging about a password ---
