Hey, question, I switched over to Verizon from Nextel (yeah, Nextel) and while it's nice to have service again, I've been through 2 different phones (VX8100 and VX8300) and tried a few others in the store (One by Samsung) and all of them have the same problem. If I talk at the same time as the person I'm talking to, their voice gets all full of static. It's not just me as my friend has the same problem with his 8300. To see what I'm talking about, with a verizon phone call moviephones or verizon tech support or any other number where there is an consistent automated voice on the other side. Start to talk and see what happens to the voice. It either drops out or gets all full of static. I never had this problem with Nextel and my friends with Cingular don't have it. It also doesn't happen when I use the speakerphone. Any thoughts? |

I'll be silly here and make a suggestion that you not talk at the same time. I mean, even without the static, I'm sure it's hard to hear each other. |

Fair point, but you actually end up talking over each other more when you can't tell that the other person has started to speak. The number of "whats" goes up substantially |
