We have a new cageless  boarding kennel exclusive to dogs in the AKC
Sporting Group outside Atlanta and I need a good mailing list to
target these owners.

trainers online. It includes more than the southeast, though. I wonder

A trainer list would not work.A lot of trainers do not want to share
their lists.Our website is at www.lifeisaball.net --take a look and
see if viewing this helps.The AKC itself will not share their info as
far as i've found unless there's something i don't know.If there were
something at a library i could get my hands on it would be good.the
email lists and clubs i've seen online are not helping me.Yahoo
groups,etc.Is it possible that vaccination records are public

Have you looked for associations based on the various breeds?  You may
be able to have some luck at

I'd spent a bit of time on Sunday trying to answer your question too. 
The AKC has a firm policy AGAINST providing dog owners names.  From
their website:

>October 1983 Board meeting:
>The Board affirmed as policy the long-standing operating procedure
that AKC >would refuse to disclose information from its registration
records or from its >correspondence files without the express
permission of the principals or due >process of law. This would
include revealing the names and addresses of the >owners of dogs<

Vaccination records are not likely to be public; dog registrations
(done at city or county level) may be.  There are a number of private
dog-owner list suppliers from which you could get a selection by zip
code.
