I don't think they have a fixed scheduled time to be up simultaneously. They're up according to the needs of boat traffic in the river. The following page states that bridges on the river are raised upon at least 12 hours advanced notice by merchant vessels which plan to need vertical clearance. http://www.washingtonwatchdog.org/documents/fr/02/my/10/fr10my02-5.html |
