My favorite easter candy (and favorite candy, period) are called hummingbird eggs. They are tiny little chewy bits of corn syrup and come in a bunch of different colors. A store in Santa Cruz, CA called Marini's used to sell them, but they have informed me this year that they no longer carry them. We used to be able to buy them when I was a kid at the drugstore. Does anyone know how to get more of these candies? An internet search has come up short. | |

Just so you'll know that you aren't being ignored, I spent several hours trying to find your candy when you posted an earlier version of this question. It sounds delicious. I hope someone can succeed where I failed. |
