HI

I am building a website and am trying to put shipping costs into it.
My dropshipper isn't telling me the costs of shipping but is trying to
force me to buy a pre-built site with this integrated. I already have
a site. I understand that i need a copy of the US destination based
shipping tables - something that gives me details of weights,
timescales and costs associated with them for US destination zones and
world shipping. They won't give me their address so I can't organise
my own shippng(before any one asks). They refuse to use postal service
as items are too big and they use Fedex to ship. I know this is
complex, but someone's gotta have something out there. I am british so
don't fully understand zUS zones.

hello

You can choose to go through a number of third party shopping cart /
checkout providers who are integrated with FedEx for this. This may be
a cheaper option since you do not have to set up a shopping cart
system at your end at all with most of these providers already
integrated with different shipping companies and online payment
systems.

In this case you do not have to go through the trouble of getting the
different options from FedEx and code that into your cart to calculate
actual shipping. The third pary provider has already done that for
you. Just sign up with one of them and you can use their shopping cart
engines to run your flows. Since your dropshipper is item location and
you will have the actual weight of the item with you, this information
can help your buyers to calculate actual shipping and for you to print
postage. You can try www.andale.com, they have this feature if you
wanna try
