Hello audioman-ga,

First, you should ensure that it is not your computer monitor that is
set too brightly (try darkening it to see if it matches the output).

Next, you should see if you can increase the brightness in the
application that you are using for the print output. If this happens
in all applications, then follow the instructions below.

I have a telephone number for you if you want to contact the official
source directly yourself: 877-778-2687 in the USA/Canada (see end of
answer for other countries).

Konica Minolta recommends the following troubleshooting problems in
the order they are listed for your problem:

Use supported media

If not printing envelopes, ensure that the envelope tabs (fuser
separator levers) inside the printer are not set for printing
envelopes (click here for information) ... problem solved?

Ensure the binding clip for the transfer roller contact spring is not out of place

Clean the laser lens

Ensure that genuine KONICA MINOLTA toners (not refilled or third
party) are being used

Print a configuration page to verify toner levels and replace any exhausted toners

Remove toner cartridges, inspect and replace if damaged

If the above fails, it could be a technical malfunction and you may be
eligible for product warranty.
