I would like a method written in the language of Microsoft C# that
will access the contents of a listbox in an application that is
external to the program the method is written in. To clarify, the
method must reference the external application, specify which
component of the application it is reading from, and finally obtain
the data from the listbox.

Please provide a sample using a common Windows application as the
external data source. For example, create the method to read the
contents out of the calculator's display textbox.
