I'm looking for videos of Kuk sool (??) Tournaments, Exhibitions,
demos, etc. from before 1990 that have taken place in Korea. I've
contacted the Kuk Sool Won Headquarters, Kidohae, KBS, MBC and a
couple of video search sites with little results. There have been
several of these broadcast on the KBS, but after contacting them they
indicated that my best bet would be to try and find an old video
rental store that specializes in Korean videos. I have yet to be able
to find one, especially since I don't speak korean. I have yet to
find a comprehensive list of episodes either. Here are some that I've
seen reference to:
1974 "Moe Ki Da Hang Jin"(Talent Show)
1975 KBS TV "Bi Mir Ea Moon"(Secret Door)
1976 TBC TV "Game Show"
1977 HoKukMuYe, produced by the
Korean Ministry of Culture and Information
1994/ 1/30 KBS-2 "???? ????"?? ?????? ??
1998/ 1 "MBC ????" ?? ??? ??
I believe there were tournaments at least every year.
So I am looking for info on where I can purchase copies of Kuk Sool
videos filmed in korea. Thanks. |
