Would this software suffice?

You install it, it works like a printer and you can create PDF
documents that work with Adobe software.

Adobe 6?

Do you mean Adobe Acrobat Pro 6?

Or what?

With Acrobat Pro I would have thought that you could have 'distilled'
any text file into a pdf.

Or am I missing something?
