Question ID: 759293
I have no idea on this songs name its been driving me nuts, It's kind of
like OH FORTUNA but it is NOT OH FORTUNA, but simmialr. I seem to
remember this song being played in movies a lot or trailers even, But
I CAN NOT for the life of me think which trailers,
But it has a very operetic, intense, feel to it like OH FORTUNA has,
It has vocals, choral chants like OH FORTUNA does. Here is a quicktime
movie of me singing the best I can as to the tune I remember. I don't
know the words that are used during the choral chants so I replaced it
with.."Bah" noises, but this is how the tune goes.

http://www.clerks2.com/mattt/bah.mov Its is more high pitched and
operetic sounding, so imagine a fat opera lady with viking horns
singing it verses my lame "bahs"

It would be amazing if someone could help!

Thanks

Mattt

I wonder if your music might be "O Verona," which originally appeared
in Baz Luhrmann's "Romeo + Juliet," and has been re-used umpteen times
in movie promos and trailers.

Have a listen and let me know if my guess is correct:

The song you posted has the exact "feel" of the one I am looking for,
but sadly this is not it. Same operatic sound with lyrics that sound
like they are latin or italian. But how it goes in that quicktime is
very close to how it would sound. Minus maybe the cymbal crashes I
threw in there. (I'm kind of just riffing at that point.) But up to
the fake cymbal crashe noises I make that is exactly how the song
goes, just replace it in your head with opera singers all intense and
powerful like the clip you linked.

Here is a better example (of me making a total jack hole out of
myself.) But better example of what it sounds like.
