According to a recent news article there are 67,000 dental clinics in Japan.

Excerpt:

?The disclosure program will apply to all hospitals and dental clinics
in Japan. According to government data, there were about 9,000
hospitals in Japan with more than 20 patient beds as of the end of
May, 99,000 medical facilities with 19 patient beds or less, and
67,000 dental clinics."

Welfare, there were  65,073 dental clinics in Japan.
