Howdy seeker26-ga,

Squidoo is located in Irvington, New York.

There is a possiblity that Squidoo does their recruiting through craigslist.

"Director of Philanthropic Partnerships"

You will want to read the above recruitment ad in detail for some insight
into what a "job" at Squidoo might offer.

I was unable to find a "jobs" page on the Squidoo website.

If the above, plus what appears to be their street address in Irvington
would suffice as an answer, please tell me. Thanks!

Looking Forward, denco-ga - Google Answers Researcher

Hello seeker26-ga,

I?ve found a 7/30/06 job posting for a ?PHP Superhero? from Squidoo.
The ad states, ?Part and full time contracts are available!
Telecommuting is ok, and hours are flexible.? This seems to say that
they may have projects on an ongoing basis. Additional information
I?ve found shows that they?re operating with a very small staff.

I am looking for intermediate to expert level PHP developers to work
on a number of interesting projects, large and small. If you're a
coding wiz, stay awake at night thinking about MySQL and Prototype,
believe source control systems are a gift from God, and have a passion
for great interface design, I'd love to meet you. Bonus points if
you're comfortable with server administration tasks.

Part and full time contracts are available! Telecommuting is ok, and
hours are flexible.

Squidoo?s contact information is available at the following site:

I suggest that you research all you can about Squidoo to understand
their business model. They don't have a jobs page because I don't
think they're hiring on a regular basis. The job posting that denco-ga
linked to is a non-paying position.

http://newyork.craigslist.org/wch/npo/194531691.html
"Compensation: Volunteer, plus transporation plus free lunch."

I recommend that you follow the instructions and build a Squidoo lens
to demonstrate your capabilities and interest. The following links
provide you with the names of the founders, investors and current
staff. After completing your research about Squidoo, you can probably
contact them directly to discuss intern, volunteer and paid
opportunities.

I'm surprised that you are unhappy with my answer and rated it merely
satisfactory. I gave you everything you asked for in your question
along with additional strategies on how you might land a job with this
company. I can't imagine what I could have provided you to make this a

disappointed that I've failed.
