I am researching POS systems and would like to learn if there is
a system out that can do most or all of the below listed items:
(ideally, i would like to know about systems that would be possible
to customise as well, aka, they are not just off the shelf, but are
built so that its easy to build plugins for them to customise them
for a particular environment) (it will also be really good to know
what technology they need to run on - eg. linux (redhat), oracle,
...)
(i know this is quite an extensive question, so i'm not expecting
