My HP Laserjet 1200 with feeder scanner (aka Laserjet 1220 All-In-One, see
picture at http://tinyurl.com/o3yvg) scans wonderfully -- BUT -- only
the last page is scanned up to the very border of the page. First and
intermediate pages are only scanned up to a bottom margin of about 15
millimeters which get cut off in the scan results.

If the problem is resolved, thus if the scanner DOES scan multiple pages each up
to their bottom borders afterwards, the reward of $ 33.33 applies.

Thanks,
David.P

Clarification:

It does't matter if the native scanner interface by HP or external
software like 'Microsoft Office Document Scanning' is used, the latter
being able to hide the scanners twain interface. In both cases the
bottom margin of first and intermediate pages get cut off.

Clarification:

The problem is NOT related to any known settings in the printer and/or
scanner control panel as well as it is independend of the scan
software that is used to drive the scanner.

It is supposed that the solution might be found in one of the
scanner's *.ini-files that can be downloaded and inspected here:

http://home.arcor.de/david-peters/HP-LaserJet-1220=HP-LaserJet-3200.zip

[the scanner software and hardware of this all-in-one printer/scanner
are identical to the scanner soft- and hardware of the HP LJ 3200]

Thanks,

This is very strange. I figured that the scanner usually DOES scan the
entire page even when scanning multiple pages using the feeder.

However - there is one certain letter from the municipal department
featuring four pages of normal text on normal white A4 size paper. For
some reason, accidentally I used this very letter for testing the
scanner...

What happened, I figured there is no way to scan THIS one letter
properly. No matter whether I put the letter backwards or upside down,
the scanner always cuts the respective bottom inch of the intermediate
pages off. Everything else is scanned rather perfectly to the very
bottom. I can't believe it.
