A contact in West Africa gave me a fax number which is called Satfax. I guess it means satellite fax. It says +874 762 391859. For obvious reasons it is NOT the correct number I have used here but something close. When trying to get through (from Europe) it looks as if we cannot get connection. Is there any special way of getting connected to Satfax numbers - different from ordinary fax numbers ? |

This suggestion probably won't work as your contact is on land, but it's worth a try. Try dialling with 871 instead of 874. 00 871 762391859 (For ships using Inmarsat, the code changes according to the location) 871 : Atlantic Ocean Region East 872 : Pacific Ocean Region 873 : Indian Ocean Region 874 : Atlantic Ocean Region West |
