Tisme researcher I also want to know that receiver of money would
rceive money in US Dollars OR local currency of sender country OR
local currency of receiver country ?? Thanks for that help from
Shoaib.

Clarification of Answer by tisme-ga on 28 Aug 2006 17:36 PDT
Hello shoaib-ga,

You would have to inform them through some third party (telephone,
email etc.) that there is money waiting for them. They then go to the
nearest Western Union at their location (it is easy to look up the
closest Western Union on the Western Union website) and show
identification, after which, they receive the money.

To answer your second question: You can send either local currency or
US Dollars using Western Union.

All the best,

tisme-ga

Tisme researcher you have stated above that "You would have to inform
them through some third party (telephone,
email etc.) that there is money waiting for them. They then go to the
nearest Western Union at their location (it is easy to look up the
closest Western Union on the Western Union website) and show
identification, after which, they receive the money", so therefore I
want to know that what do you mean by "third party" in your above
statement and thanks for that help from Shoaib. ??

Tisme researcher I also want to know that after "how much time" the
receiver would receive money if I send money according to the above
mentioned method to that receiver of money and Tisme researcher thanks
for that help from Shoaib ??

Hello shoaib-ga,

By third party, I mean that it is your responsibility to notify them
that payment is available to get picked up. This can be email, phone,
fax, letter, courier etc. You would have to ask western union if they
will notify the receiver, this is not something they usually do, but
they might do it for you.
