Since it hasn't made the news on the Continent, I must ask, where did
the PM and his wife spend their holidays? Was it a politically
correct venue? (Hopefully, not like that bizarre outing to Italy a
couple of years ago.) Where should they have spent their hols?
1) to show allegiance with his voters;
2) to support the UK economy;
3) to hobnob with those of his political class;
4) somehow to do the above all at once?

And did they take the kiddies with them, or where were they?

Oooh, difficult choice now: art and entertainment, sports and
recreation, relationship and society, family and home. The
catch-all...

Tony Blair will fly home from Barbados at the end of this week to meet
a punishing schedule, before what is expected to be his last leader's
speech to a Labour conference.

myo,

What is the significance of the little carat after the question mark:

<<...hols?^ ...>>

I've long suspected your frequent comments to be a way of passing
messages along to some secret cabal, but I never expected you to be
quite so obvious...

Cliff Richard, a pop star of yesteryear, allowed them the use of his
home in Barbados.

So ...

Will Cliff soon become King Richard the First of Barbados?

Oh yes and the Bliars took all their kiddy winkies with them, one of
whom fell ill, requiring Cherie to stay behind, presumably to frighten
him.

She sure scares the hell out of me.

Paf, you're right, eh eh, but that carat [^] isn't part of it.
I wondered why nothing happened when I thought I hit the tab key. The
carat on my keyboard is just above it and only prints when I hit the
next letter, like with my ´` accents, so I didn't notice.
My "handler" must have known that I'm a sloppy typist.

So Tony et fam. have been on the Barbados, and staying at Cliff
Richard's place, alining himself to the has-beens. Very appropriate.
At least he isn't facing any pending trials, like his lifted friend
with the transplanted hair.

And, yes, Probono, we must steer clear of QCs, especially one with
such an endearing name. ten-four.
Kemlo's comment, although probably entirely correct, cannot be
trusted; even the punctuation is correct. I'm afraid he is signaling
that he has be given a truth serum; all future postings to be
interpreted with the double-agent code.

Barbados, Caribbean, Dominica. Mmmm! Rum/Rhum and the true story
behind our man in Havana, AND Jean Rhys, the lovely girl this week on
my literary calendar:

Personally he should stay in Barbados. He is far more use out there
than back home so good riddens. Bout time we had some else to make a
complete botch. Tonay Blair is all talk and no action. The whole of
the UK is in dire straits thanks to him. PLEASE PLEASE GO!
