helper911-ga,

In addition to the challenge of defining "professional women", your
questions are asking for such precise and specific data, that I doubt
any of your questions can be answered.

Unless a survey firm has specifically asked of professional women "Can
you afford to send your children to college" -- and then published the
results -- it's hard to see where else such a data-point could come
from.

You would be much better off in your current set of questions to
re-phrase them along the lines of..."Please summarize available data
on, eg, debt among women, with a focus on their age and income
demographics...".

That way, researchers can find what's available, and present it to you
as an answer to your question (though there's always the chance that
not much info is available, so be prepared for a possible answer that
says: I looked, but there's not much out there! Here's what I
found...).

Let us know your thoughts on this,

"afford to send their children to college" is also quite nebulous.
Some will be able to pay all expenses, others won't, but the kids will
still be going to college, working, scholarship, whatever.

This also raises the question: are you asking about professional
women with no husband, significant other, ex-husband to help pay for
education?
