How can you make the preview pane span across the list of new mails
(inbox) -AND- the folders bar? Right now the folders bar is just
taking up precious mail preview space.

Best regards Johan

Hello johanka-ga,

While it is impossible in Outlook Express 6 to have the preview pane
extend horizontally and not the list of emails, it is possible to
clean up the user interface and to get more space. I will provide you
with a recommended solution below, but you might want to turn
different aspects of the layout on/off based on your personal
requirements:

1. Inside Outlook Express, click on View and then click on Layout.
2. Make sure only the following four items are checked under the Basic
section: Outlook Bar, Status Bar, Toolbar, Folder Bar.
3. Click OK.
4. Pull back the Outlook Bar some more to make maximum space.
5. Use the Folder bar (the pull down box right at Inbox) to navigate
between different folders. You may optionally turn off the Outlook Bar
if you prefer that look.

I hope this answer helps you solve the problem of space. Also, have
you considered increasing the resolution of your computer to provide
more space? If you need help with this, please let me know and I will
assist you with this question further.

All the best,

tisme-ga

Sorry, this is not what I'm looking for, If it is impossible as you
say I'll need a hack to fix this.
