What are historical yields on United States fixed annuities as
compared with Inflation?  I would prefer a graph over the past 20
years, but data is acceptable.

This data is really hard to find (probably why this question hasn't
been answered).  Here is the only thing I have so far:

Fixed annuities from 1990 - 1999  6.3%
Inflation during the same time    2.9%
