Hi all. We're looking for the optimal way to do an Internet radio call-in show. Our plan is to have the authors of books being interviewed (preferably live with caller Q & A) and play the shows for visitors to our website. We anticipate that a couple of thousand people will probably listen to the show. Hosted solutions like Live365 seem perfect for this in terms of providing the infrastructure. The biggest question that we have is how to handle the call-in nature of the show. There are a lot of teleconferencing solutions out there but they usually have it set up so that either just the leader can talk or everyone can talk. What we want is to set up a queue (just like a radio station would) and preferably be able to monitor that queue (pre-screen callers, etc.). I'm sure there are some very expensive solutions for this geared to radio stations. However, we're looking for something a little more inexpensive and are looking for ideas as to anything that might work. Thanks! | |
