Question ID: 760334
How can I find out if Stealth monitoring software is running on a
computer. Programmes like Spectre, SpyAgent, I am Big Brother,
Invisible Key logger all claim to be invisible to Norton
Internet/Nirus protection.

Is there a simple way I can sweep my computer so I know it's clean?

arizonamike...

I've never heard of anything getting past the security suite I recommend
in this previous answer, all of which is freeware:

Let me know if this satisfies your needs...

Thanks. There are plenty of suggestions here. I've looked through
the options and and happy they will work.

Thanks. That seemed to work though I added in Webroot's Spy detector.
That was the only one that picked up Mate Watcher.

How do I close this question and pay you?

Hi mike...

When I wrote my response to this question, and even when I finalized
my answer to your other question (with the same recommendations I
provided you here), I didn't realize that both questions had been
written by the same person.

To answer your query, a question is finalized when an authorized
researcher posts a response in the formal answer space, as I did
on your other question:
http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=761043

I will refrain from doing that here, since I have provided you with
the same information here that I used to finalize the answer on your
other question.

I would suggest that you cancel this question, and, if you feel that
the information I provided here, and likewise on the other question,
is worth a fee in addition to what you paid for the other question,
you can simply add a tip to the other question prior to rating it.

Best regards...
