I'm trying to locate the recipe for the Thai dipping sauce that the Big Bowl restaurant in Chicago uses with their spring/summer rolls. It is definitely heavy on garlic and red chilies, but I'm looking for the complete recipe. Help? |

Greetings Saturation, You've probably already checked the Big Bowl recipe book and found there are no dipping sauce recipes in it. I checked it at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0060194200/104-2551793-5321533?v=glance&n=283155 where I saw a customer review that stated the dipping sauce recipes aren't in the book. You might try reverse-engineering the recipe. I've never experienced Big Bowl cuisine, but I wonder if mangoes (or maybe even mango chutney) might be a main ingredient in that sauce. You might try searching for a general Thai mango sauce, and work from there. Good luck! Best regards, journalist-ga |
