Hi!

Are there venture capital firms that invest in renewable energy /
green technology?  If so, what are the major funds?

I am looking to invest in this area, and would like to compare
investment opportunities.  (I will do the comparisons - I am just
looking for the right resources.)  I am based in the UK and would
prefer UK funds, but I'm open to US and other international funds.

I have been to http://www.sustainablebusiness.com, and I noticed a
similar question from 2003

like an up-to-date answer of current funds.

I am still new to this area (probably most of what I know I've read on
wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renewable_energy_development).
