Hello!

We would like to find out if it is possible to customize/personalize
the flash player? I remember seeing an AD from a technology company
with their logo on the Flash player. Is this relatively easy to
accomplish? i.e. can I put my own logo on the Flash player? (not in
the content that is displayed but actually on the Player itself)

Also, I want to find out if it is possible to put a time limit on the
Content being generated and caputured in Flash. Let us say
(hypothetically) that I am asking actors to send 2 min clips of their
enaction of a particular scene (from a Shakesphere play). I want the
clips to be no longer than 120 seconds, so that I can judge everyone
by the same yardstick (max 120 secs to enact a scene). I am assuming
that they would have to somehow capture the content into some Flash
capture software that we have developed ourselves that is hard-coded
to capture only 120 secs. Are there other alternatives?

Finally, we have some old flash files (prior versions of Flash). I was
told that Adobe now uses a new encoder for Flash files. Is it
possible to convert all our older versions of Flash files 'en masse'
into the new version? (Psst.. what is the technology term for
upgrading the files from a previous version to the current version?)

Please let me know if you need any clarifications - to answer my question.

Thanks,
Pat79

Hi Pat79,
Which flash player/recorder are you using?
