I am an entrepreneur in London, UK. I need to find out a few things
regarding online offshore gambling licenses. I need to know the
following :

- The country/jurisdiction offering the cheapest online gambling
license (are there any for $5000 or under?). The more links and info
the better.

- The type of lawyer that is best suited to dealing with online internet gambling.

- Whether its generally better to apply directly to the government for
a license or to get a sublicense, which sublicense company is
reliable/cheap

- Is online gambling legal within the UK and/or if it's UK managed by
incorporated offshore.

- Is www.gambling-license.cx legitimate in obtaining an online
gambling license in which no further fees are paid? (optional)

A fast reply would be appreciated.

Dear Buddinggentre-ga

I'm a gambling consultant in the UK and while I would charge to answer
your questions in full, I can offer you some advice for free.

Info on gambling licences you can find here
http://www.gamblinglicenses.com/, however, I'm not sure how up to date
the information is. But price isn't necessarily the issue - tax and
regulatory framework are both important. For instance it would be
pointless securing the cheapest licence if that jurisdiction was to
impose greater taxes, or if companies operating from within it were
attracting legal problems.

There are several legal firms in the UK that concentrate on gambling,
and online gambling. I can send you details of two or three of these
firms for free.

Online gambling was made legal in the UK last year, with the Gambling
Act 2005. The cost of an operating licence and the taxation levels
have yet to be decided.

You can find out more about me at www.gamblingbites.com/user/alex-tanner.

Kind regards

Alex Tanner
