What is the best possible pick up system for an upright piano? I need
very good sound quality with great seperation from other noisy
instruments in a loud rock band. I also need to be able to turn up the
volume of the piano without getting feedback or howl

A loud rock band with an upright piano?
I understand your problem  - and now understand why rock bands seem to
always use an electronic keyboard or two.  Is that a solution?
