Forgive me for this rather weird request. My grandmother was, well,
obsessed with the Bermuda triangle, and in her will she asked for her
remains to be scattered there. Actually, she was more specific--she
asked for a boat to be hired to scatter her ashes there, so that none
of us would actually travel to the site. Our funeral director (in
Florida) is stumped, and I haven't done any better with web searches.
Can someone point me to a service or company that would carry out this
wish?

" Why do we scatter ashes all over the world? It was the natural
answer to one driving question: How to celebrate a life?

The people we love remain alive in our hearts even when they are gone
from this earth, and we want to remember them set free in their sacred
places.

For some of us, that place is the garden, or the quiet lawns of our
own church. For others, the places that mark us and make us are far
from home. At Amazing Day we are inspired to offer a final journey for
souls moving from this world into the next, and a lasting peace for
those left behind.

Our website provides information on a small selection of our journeys.
We travel from the highest peaks to the most remote rivers, and we
will provide a written quote for your most exotic requests in about
five days.

"Funeral At Sea offers a dignified and simple alternative to the
conventional funeral. Funeral at sea, whether it be the scattering of
cremains by boat or airplane, is a time honored tradition. It is less
costly than a land funeral, and in many ways is much more refined.

Funeral At Sea can provide services in any navigable body of water in
the world, local laws and customs permitting. The majority of our
services are performed here in the State of Florida, where we have
beautiful, azure waters.

Our services range from a simple unattended scattering of cremains by
boat or airplane anywhere in the state of Florida to elaborate
memorial services at sea with clergy of your choice.
