I'm looking for a simple way to track and get reports of internet use on a computer. I've checked a lot of the software like "net nanny" and "spy software", and while they do track websites I visit, they do not give me an easy simple report. (something like "list of all sites visited" "time spent on each site") Perhaps there is better software that I haven't found? Or a different solution like a proxy service that I could use, that would provide me the reports I want? |

You can get the reports straight from your own computer. It wont show how loing was spent on a site, but when it was visited. There is a HISTORY icon at the top of your Internet Explorer. It opens a bar to the left. You can view the history by a)By date: b)By site: c)By most visited: or d)By order visited today. The amount of time your computer holds this history can be set by going to TOOLS (in the toolbar above) then clicking on INTERNET OPTIONS. In the box that opens, you will see tabs at the top. In the GENERAL tab, is a section about HISTORY. In there you can say how long you want to retain the records of where your computer has been. I hope that helps. *saltytowers* |
