I did not find any evidence that Tom Wolfe is gay. 

Have you read about this somewhere? If you have can you tell me where.

It seems odd to me that some people began to wonder if Tom Wolfe might
be gay because he wrote a novel that is told from a female point of
view. Scores of women have written novels from male points of view,
and folks didn't instantly assume that they were lesbians.
