I bought a Dura-power 3500 watt gasoline generator with a rated power
of "2.8/3 KVA" and max power of "3/3.5 KVA". Can I run a small window
mount air conditioner (haven't bought it yet), and a 75 watt
incandescent light bulb with this little generator?

You'll need to know the power consumption of the A/C unit (take
a look on the unit), but chances are it will handle it. A typical
small A/C unit such as this Sears model, which produces 10,000 BTU
of cooling, uses 1020 Watts:

That, and the 75 watt bulb should be about half the capacity of your
generator, at 2.8 KVA, which should be good for about 2000-2300 watts,
as shown for this generator of similar capacity at Cairns Mower City:

formal answer...
