Can you tell me if the origin of the surname 'YANKO' is jewish?

I believe this is a Slavic surname. I've known two people named Yanko.
One was of Polish ancestry, and the other was Bulgarian.

It is also a given name:

and can also be a Jewish surname  (but doesn't have to be):

The spelling with Y is no doubt a variation to preserve the Slavic
pronunciation of Janko.
