I have a relative 10 years old who happens to have inherited the family hairiness. Of course the mean girls at school are torturing her. Since she has started shaving her legs they have started in with the "tarantula" arms. Since giving in to them doesn't work, I want to "arm" her with a comeback or two to give her some confidence. Please provide the names of some well-know heirsuit women. I would be happy with 3-5 names (and no, jojo the dog-face woman is not what I have in mind). | |

That is one approach: to give the girl some selfconfidence, but if she asked about Frida Kahlo, the girl might not be uplifted by her life story. I sincerely hope her parents are asking doctors about possible treatment (suggested without knowing if there are any). Rita Hayworth (a well known film star of yesteryear) started life as Margarita Cansino and, apparently, she had a low hairline that was raised by electrolysis, after she had been signed up by Columbia Pictures. I guess that many successful women have their excess hair removed and that very few people would ever know or care. Maybe Rita could prove a good role model for your young relative? Waxing is better than shaving. Shaving of body hair causes to grow more stronger and vigrously. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waxing |
