Hello,
Perhaps someone knows the answer to this question? I am trying to
find data that I can download into excel. I believe it exists for
free but if not for free then I am willing to pay a service to gain
access to the data. Therefore, the answer to this question is a web
address and some directions (for example, go to https//www.name.com
and then go to this page and take that action).
The data I am looking for is monthly historical price for the last 10 years for:
1/ US 10-year treasury bonds
2/ US Investment Grade Corporate bond index or mutual fund
3/ US General corporate bond index or mutual fund
A full answer will include all three types and list the name of the
web addresses plus directions for how to access the data. Once I have
accessed the data then I will pay your "finders fee". Or, if easier
you can paste in the data into your Google Answer reply. Each series
of return numbers will only be 2 columns wide (month end date and
closing price). That is it! Three serirs of 2 columns with approx
120 rows in each series. So, a single row of data should look like
the following (6/1/1999 93.11) so that there is only one space between
the date and the return or it can be comma seperated (6/1/1999,93.11).
If you paste in the data then please tell me the source
I am working on my thesis and this is the only information remaining
that I need for my portfolio theory analysis. Your help would be much
appreciated.
Many thanks and Regards,
