My ATA RAID 2400A is not responding during POST. The card is not
recognized anymore, tried it on 3 different otherwise working PC's.
(FYI: lspci when booted Debian does not reveal a thing)
As it is slightly over 3 years old now I'm not eligable for Adaptec
support anymore.

A possibility would be that the ECC-DIMM is the only part that is
malfunctioning, but then I have to know wether this card should
present itself during POST if the DIMM is missing.

So to come to the point: is this unresponsive card heading for the
ashtray? (I mean going to the dangerous chemical unit:)

Thanks in advance,
Loek Gijben
