Well done, Jack! I've searched the Registers for Deaths in England & Wales but I can find no trace of Her Ladyship ... However, her name sounds rather Scottish and I don't have access to the Scottish Registers. Sorry! |

According to the link provided by stuffknower-ga "her married name became French" (1951). According to the link provided by jack_of_few_trades-ga her husband died in 1970. |

I've searched the Registers for England & Wales from 1984 to 2004 for the Death of 'Iona French' ... And found nothing. So, she apparently didn't die in England or Wales. |
