Can someone write me a macro which will carry out the following: When i receive an email into my inbox I place it into its appropriate subfolder. Periodically i go through each subfolder and amend the Subject header within each email such that the first five characters are "[xxx] - " (without speech marks) where xxx is the sequential number of the email in that sub-folder. The first number in each sub-folder being "[001] - " which applies to the first (chronologically) email to be put into that sub-folder. I will never have more than 999 files in any subfolder. Currently I am at "[702] - " in one subfolder with 60 emails recieved over past week which I need to start numbering from [703] to [762]. Its tedious doing this manually. Any macros that can be applied would be most welcome. |
