I have a vaulted ceiling in my living room with a beam and a moulding
on both sides of the beam and a ridge vent over the area for
ventilation. On one side of the beam's moulding, there is dust that
seems to come
out from under the moulding onto the popcorn ceiling. Can I cement
tightly the shingles on that ridge vent to prevent the wind from
causing this? (Assuming that this is caused by the wind)
