I live in Toronto. I studied alone and got only 490. I'd like to know
the best GMAT course I should take, or a tutor I should hire (
specially for the verbal and analytical sections)

I used Kaplan's GMAT software to prepare, and scored a 710.  YMMV -
find what works for you.
