in excel's print view, i cannot drag print area and page breaks with
mouse. what shall i do? are there alternatives to formating print area with mouse?

how do i drag page break? i used to be able to do that with mouse.

In normal view, Select the area you wish to be printed. 
From file menu, File- Print Area - Set Print area.

Then, you should go to Print Preview mode and press MARGINS on top of the page.

You can move margins with the mouse.

Then, you can click on Page Break Preview, and change your page breaks with mouse.

Have fun printing.
