"Troilus and Cressida" in NTSC format for sale? I'd prefer a DVD, but
video, okay. I can ONLY find this Shakespeare play in PAL [region two
is a PAL format for Britain & Europe] BUT I cannot find it in NTSC
[region TWO].

I must admit that I am a bit confused about your request. The region
codes of DVDs have nothing to do with the TV standards NTSC and PAL.
The region codes define simply for what geographic regions a DVD is
made; it's just something introduced by the US movie industry to
maximise profits (DVD player manufacturers often choose to ignore the
region codes, so that any DVD will play anywhere in the world).
PAL and NTSC, on the other hand, are different TV systems. Since NTSC
is in use only in the USA, Canada and Japan, and since Europe and most
of the rest of the world uses PAL, it is highly unlikely to find a
region 2 (=Europe) DVD made for NTSC.

So what exactly are you looking for? A region 1 (=North America) DVD
for the North American NTSC system, I suppose?

Here in mid-USA, my budget-priced DVD player will play only NTSC
DVD's. Supposedly "region free" DVD's will NOT work--including one
Netflix DVD, lately. I thought that NTSC & Region 1 were commonly used
interchangeably, but I was mistaken. No matter--post-car wreck, I'm
broke, so I'm cancelling the question.

I doubt if it has ever been released on either Video or DVD, although
there have been various TV productions.

Oops!

Silly me there are some on ebay (UK) ...

The above is a Region 2 DVD which may (or may not) play on your DVD player.
